  1. Erich Fromm and Maya Angelou are both on my favorite authors list. Erich especially because I was reading one of his books during a difficult time in my life and it helped me out of my darkness. Books are awesome but not as awesome as the people who take the time to put their blood, sweat and tears into making them.

  2. Colin has just discovered Matisse cut-outs through a wonderful picture book, Henri and the Scissors. So, this is now a new part of art for our art show. Thank you for the Matisse quote, as I hope it inspires Colin. It certainly inspired me! BTW, Matisse’s great grandchildren were in my preschool class, and his grandson still lives in Groton.
