Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” This issue is one of the central themes of my horror novel Maledicus: Investigative Paranormal Society Book I and is also one of the main issues that has faced humanity in the last one hundred years. From the consequences of millions slain in the Holocaust to one single person murdered on the streets of New York City while many watched and did nothing, humanity has been confronted with this dilemma. In a few Anne Rice novels, there is a secret society called the Talamasca (sp?) that fights vampires, demons, etc. I always thought a group like that would be a great centerpiece for a novel. Good luck with this!

I can not wait until this literary horror story is in print. As on of several Beta readers for this manuscript, I was amazed to find that this story was not at all what I thought it would be. It is abundant in tantalizing details, unforgettable characters, and rich in delicate undertones that sparkle with literary nuances that will not only touch your heart and mind, but take your breath away.
