Ray Bradbury
“Reading is the sole means by which we slip, involuntarily, often helplessly, into another’s skin, another’s voice, another’s soul.”

I think Ray Bradbury has it right. The rest are good too but Mr. Bradbury’s is important.

Bradbury’s quote for me spoke at the forefront of what should be important in today’s society. I loved Joyce Carol’s words because reading is like that for me.
For me, books were an escape from the confines of my real world. In my imagination, books were the gateway to far away places and destinations I never thought possible.

My apologies if there was a repeat reply, I experienced as delay in submitting my reply. My first thought was that it did not go through. This 50 year old is all thumbs when it comes ti using mobile devices, so forgive me.
