It has been a while since I have spoken of what I am currently writing. As always, I am keeping busy and continuing to try to write almost every day. In a few days, I will speak specifically about my book on writing essays that will be released soon. I am excited to say that this book is not self-published! I finally have a traditional publisher. I am not, in any way, discounting the value of my self-published work; instead, I am now claiming to be a hybrid writer, living in both worlds.
Additionally, I am working on the first draft of a fantasy novel that I hope to have finished by the end of July. As soon as that is complete, I will begin working on another book on writing. Waiting patiently in line after that are the characters who will people a political thriller.
What about all of you? What are you working on? I hope you are enjoying writing and are being productive.
So, I ask again: what are you writing now?
Gallows Hill can be found here in ebook.

Congratulations on all of your work/projects! Since you asked: I’m currently working on writing “blurbs” as I call them: short pieces of writing, 200 words give or take, about my fine art. I find it a challenge to write words-in-a-row about inherently visual works. I know why I painted what I painted – but articulating it as an amusing anecdote is almost harder than creating the painting itself. Good thing I love challenges. Lol!

Yes, I can certainly imagine how difficult that must be–fusing two inherently different art forms. Wow!

It is!! I’ve been trying to practice on my blog… it is very difficult. There’s a reason they say “pictures are worth a thousand words” – Lol!

Your writing and publishing sounds so exciting. I’m looking forward to reading more about it. Really! I am working on a story of a boy, his dog, and a train.

While I do not write books I do operate two blogs. Currently, I am waiting until I announce the winner of a contest on my personal blog before I can begin rebranding. I have slowly started the process. My creative website is new and doing well. I juggle between the two as well as work two jobs. Needless to say, I stay busy.

You certainly do stay busy! And your point is important–writing comes in many forms.

Congratulations on being traditionally published! I’m currently focusing my work on books for children and will try to get a children’s story published first to possibly help in my own quest of traditional publishing.

I’m working on part 13 of my Sky-pirates story and I also have a quite dark vampire short story mostly written. I know how it ends, but I’m having a little difficulty getting to the ending, but I’m sure I’ll work it out.

I am sure it will work out also. I began one of the first drafts I have completed with the ending. I knew that well, but nothing about how to get there, but it did come to me, and I hope it does for you also.

Congratulations on your book of essays, Charles! As ever, you are hard working and creative. Right now, I’m in the throes of editing/formatting the first book in my space opera trilogy in readiness for a print edition.

Congratulations on getting an agent and a publisher! I am writing a historical time-slip fantasy and hopefully, self-publish in late October.

In between working 2 jobs and doing small freelance writing jobs (blog posts, short stories, etc.) through Fiverr, I’m trying to complete my WIP fantasy novel that I’ve been working on off and on for a while now.
