  1. Yes! I love that Maya Angelou quote! Also, I was watching a documentary on PBS a few weeks ago about Neanderthals. Apparently researchers have found a way to study Neanderthal brain development and compare it with our own, and they think that one of the key differences between our two species is that our (Homo sapiens) brains allow for greater feats of imagination. So, in essence, it is imagination that distinguishes us from what may have been our closest relatives.
