I especially like the one by F Douglas who, by the way, is buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, just down the road a few minutes from my house. One of his ‘neighbors’ there is none other than Susan B Anthony. I saw a t shirt on a lady, whom I guess is a teacher, and the succinct message on it was, ‘read, the dinosaurs didn’t and they’re not around anymore’. Pretty good.

I thought so, too. I almost stopped her to ask if I could take a picture. But, then, I thought, in today’s world, asking to take a picture of a woman’s chest might not be wise…actually, at any time. So, remarkably, I stored it to memory. 😉

There is a nice bridge in the heart of Rochester, NY, spanning the Genesee River, that bears their name, the ‘Susan B Anthony, Frederick Douglas Bridge’, commonly referred to as the ‘Susan B’. The lesson here, it’s a bummer to have your name listed second!

I would be lost without books. They have brought me so much joy and a means of escape from daily troubles.
