  1. Many thanks, Charles!

Mystical Greenwood is a YA high fantasy novel about a boy whose life changes after he encounters a gryphon and a healer. Drawn into an epic conflict of good vs. evil, he discovers something sacred and magical within the forests he travels through, and something more about himself. Mystical Greenwood was a finalist in the 2019 American Fiction Awards for Fantasy: Epic/High Fantasy, sponsored by American Book Fest. Available in Paperback, Kindle, and Nook.

  2. Thanks again, Charles, for your tireless work on behalf of emerging authors.

With the opening of a new academic year under circumstances the likes of which none of us have ever lived through, I’m eager to tell readers about a timely book I recently edited for a friend and fellow writer, T. D. Page. “Mom’s My Teacher?” introduces homeschooling to young children embarking on a non-traditional path to learning.

The beautifully illustrated book fills a gap in the current market. There are plenty of books that tell parents how to teach from home and regale future students about school life, but few–if any–that prepare children for what learning outside of the classroom might look like. In “Mom’s My Teacher?”, kids will find brightly colored pictures and a straightforward, engaging story that prepares them for learning anywhere and everywhere. They’ll also discover warm, memorable characters that will help them get excited about the prospect of education. “Mom’s My Teacher?”, available in paperback and audio editions, is a good book for parents and children to read together and discuss as they figure out how homeschooling will be built into their schedules and lifestyles.

Unfolding on the vast lands of the USSR, this novel depicts the fearful existence of its ordinary people through the eyes of a Volga German, Ursula Kriegshammer, and a Russian young woman, Natasha Ivanova. Both confront an unknown future that comes with the invading German army.
